Easton Sticks

In 1981, Easton, originally a company with its origins in archery products, came out with the first aluminum hockey stick acceptable to the NHL. It was the first of several advances. Many consider this company as one of the most innovative in the business. Easton also sets high standards of quality, comfort and durability in all their sports equipment, including Easton hockey sticks.

In 1990, Wayne Gretzky began to wear Easton hockey equipment. The “Great One” specifically used a silver-colored Easton hockey stick. This model of Easton ice hockey sticks gripped the spectators’ imaginations as he scored again and again. It can now be considered an Easton classic hockey stick, right up their with blue Easton Stealths hockey sticks and as memorable as pink Easton hockey sticks. Other NHL superstars, including Paul Kariya, Milan Hejduk, Joe Sakic, Brad Richards, Peter Forsberg and Jarome Iginla, have used Easton sticks.

The 1999 – 2000 hockey season saw Easton Hockey make a new statement with the composite Easton Synergy hockey stick - the industry’s first one-piece hockey stick. The lightest on the market at the time, it became one of the most popular sticks in the NHL. More than 200 non-endorsed athletes preferred Easton Synergy hockey sticks - light weight and durable, for delivering fast slap shots and control.

The Synergy, including Easton Synergy junior hockey sticks, is just one of the examples of the sticks Easton manufactures. There are several wood and aluminum Easton hockey sticks on the market as well, you can custom Easton hockey sticks. Models include Easton Hybrid Technology Jr. and the Stealth.

The company introduced Easton Stealth hockey sticks to the public in 2004. The shaft of the Easton Stealth hockey stick is made of Kelvar graphite. A composite, its strength results from its construction. The maximum flex occurs at the lowest end of the shaft. It weighs in at 410 grams and, features CRT (corner reinforcement technology) and CNT (Carbon nanotube technology) for greater control and durability as well as a uni mold design and base kick flex point.

Like Bauer, Easton Hockey offers a warranty the Easton hockey stick warranty is limited to 30 days. Other conditions apply, for example, hockey sticks by Easton are only covered against manufacturer’s defect. Still, the Easton stick is known for its durability so, perhaps a 30-day warranty is more than sufficient.
